Richard Morrissey
Richard Morrissey is a renowned high performance consultant to elite athletes, and is an expert in the application of psychology and hypnosis for enhancing sporting performance. He is also the supervisor of NeoGyms athlete programme.
Richard holds a Black Belt in Ultimate Kickboxing and has a passion for resistance training and periodically trains members of NeoGym. In addition to working with amateur athletes who have the highest expectations of themselves, Richard specialises in working with professional athletes to successfully perform in high stakes environments where there is no margin for error, by empowering his clients to control psychological states, increase concentration and thrive under immense pressure. This is achieved by using a multi disciplined approach which combines; psychology, psychotherapy, hypnotic suggestion, mental programming and strategy alteration, with a strong emphasis on high performance psychology, all of which works towards enhancing sporting performance and developing a bulletproof mind helping to bring about the winning edge.
His work has identified the importance of having a progressive strategy in place for psychological training, which is available through a number of platforms, from cutting edge hypnosis audio programmes, one to one coaching and working with the NeoGym team. An unwavering commitment to ensuring his clients performance is accelerated to the max has resulted in Richard being consulted by coaches and managers in addition to the athletes themselves to bring a solid foundation to the mental aspects of peak performance, with client confidentiality always remaining a top priority.
